We are all enjoying following the Olympics and finding out about different countries and sports.

Area

We have been learning about area this week. We enjoyed making our names out of blocks and finding the total area of them. Check these out! 

Talent Quest

Well done to all these wonderful people who entered amazing creations in the Talent Quest! You all did so well! 

Swimming

Room 6 has worked very hard in their swimming lessons for the past couple of weeks! So awesome to see everyone gaining confidence and having fun in the water! Thank you so much to the parents that came along and helped us out! 

Wig Wednesday

It was great to see so much support for Child Cancer on Wednesday. Everyone looked awesome in their wigs!

THANK YOU

We had an awesome trip down to Invercargill yesterday to see the Kakapo chicks. What an amazing experience for everyone. Even though it was cold, we had lots of fun exploring Queen's Park. 

A big thank you to our awesome Mums (Amy, Hayley, Kayla, Barbara, Sharnee, and Mandy) who helped us out! You helped to make the day relaxing and fun for everyone (including Miss Kerse). 

Week 4 Award Winners!

Well done to Addy who received the value award this week for always showing respect. Addy shows respect to everyone and everything and is a wonderful role model for others, You're awesome Addy!

Our shooting star winners are Grace and Lucas. These two have worked so hard on their reading this term and are making amazing progress. I am super proud of them!

Also our cross country winners received their certificates. Cooper was 1st in the 6 year old boys, and Paige 1st, Livy 2nd and Grace 3rd in the 6 year old girls! Top effort speedy runners!
